Kuk Harrell recently responded to one of the 30-year-old singer’s fans who asked for an update on Rihanna’s new album, R9. Kuk Harrell, via Instagram Live Rihanna updated fans in September, promising that her new music was “coming.” The vocalist hasn’t released any new music since 2016’s ‘ANTI.’ She’s been busy focusing on her make-up collection and film work, including Ocean’s 8. Rihanna hasn’t given much away when it comes to her next release. It’s believed she may be gearing up to drop a double-disc album next year.
Cardi admitted she is nervous about her next LP after the massive success of her debut album, ‘Invasion of Privacy.’ All the tracks were certified gold or higher by the the Recording Industry Association of America. Santana was arrested in March after trying to board a plane with a loaded handgun and oxycodone pills at Newark International Airport. According to TMZ, he pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft. His status as a felon stems from a 2011 arrest for possession of marijuana and firearms. Santana, who appears on VH1’s ‘Love & Hip Hop,’ predicted on the show that he’d get 27 to 37 months for the crime. The rapper will be under supervised release for one year after serving his sentence.
While appearing on ‘The Daily Show’ this week, Pusha added it was difficult to speak with Kanye about it while they were recording Pusha’s album, Daytona. Despite some canceled shows, Drake’s Aubrey and the Three Migos tour still landed on the top ten list of top-grossing North American tours. The 43-date tour run sold 678,410 tickets and finished only behind Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s tours in total sales. The tour earned $5 million less than Drake’s 2016 Summer Sixteen tour, a 54-date run with Future. Los Angeles and New York hosted seven dates each, Drake brought out various guests throughout the tour, including Meek Mill and Chris Brown. Drake performed for an impressive two hours each night. He took home a reported $47 million, while the Migos split $24.5 million in earnings.
The Migos rapper surprised Cardi and begged for her to come back after he crashed her set at Rolling Loud festival in Los Angeles. Stagehands rolled out three boxes that spelled out “Take Me Back Cardi” in flowers. Cardi was less than amused.
